The quality of training is very good, and the community is somewhat active. The price is quite high but not unreasonable for what you get. I think this could be a good product for someone looking to market information via their own info product listed on Clickbank, but not for someone looking to make money in affiliate marketing.
Before You Buy CBU
Clickbank’s straightforward sales page was a pleasant surprise. They are clear about what you will be doing inside the members area, and what your money will pay for.
Inside Clickbank University 2.0 Members Area
Inside CBU 2.0, you’ll see there are a few tabs. In order to get access to all the lessons, you have to fill out a form and request it. Otherwise, the lessons are drip-fed on a schedule. The main training is going to be the “vendor” training. You’ll learn how to create a customer avatar, set up a landing/sales page and funnel, getting your product on Clickbank, then scaling your business. Each section of the training has several videos, and they range for 3-25 minutes long.
There’s a ton of content, so Clickbank University is worth the price if your are creating your first product and trying to learn how to sell it online!
You’ll also have access to the Clickbank University Forum, where you can get in contact with other members, and exchange ideas. The forum portion of the program has improved dramatically in the past 3 years.
Are you just starting your first online business and not sure whether you want to be a product creator or affiliate? Personally, I prefer being an affiliate. It’s not as glamorous as owning your own product, but I think it gets much closer to the idea of passive income.
5 Things I Liked About Clickbank University 2.0
The main training center focuses on product creation, which is different from most other “make money” systems that I review. Product creation can be a very lucrative online business if you create a high quality product(s) and can drive traffic to your site. (They did add an affiliate section, which I’m going to cover below. )
You can make even more money if you have a good email sequence for email marketing, and even MORE money if you have good incentives for affiliates to start doing the selling for you.
I didn’t watch all the videos available to me, but the ones I saw were very candid, high quality, and provided real insight into how online marketing works. I saw a few about how to think of a product to sell, how to drive traffic to your website, and the basics of how affiliate marketing works on Clickbank.
There is a ton of info to read, so if you join Clickbank University, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy. Beginners will definitely benefit from training, as well as low-intermediate to intermediate level online marketers. I think if you have experience and have just not found luck with your previous campaigns, you might find the info pretty standard, and might only benefit from later training modules (which I was unable to view)
1. Lots of High Quality Lessons
There are weeks and weeks of lessons within CBU. They are a combination of face-to-face video, plus over the shoulder video. There’s also a downloadable written portion (green arrow in the image below) where you can see basic highlights from the video portion. Though I love video, written stuff is easier to review. No need to watch a 20 minute video again to just get a refresher!
2. Website Builder (Builder 2.0)
Originally I was against the Website Builder because I assumed it was just another CMS like WordPress. Too bad they really didn’t make it clear in the main sales video. I skipped all the upsell junk because I really hate the upsell process that most companies force us through. However, after investigating it a bit, I think it could be beneficial for product creators. Having a pre-set funnel strategy and landing page builder could help some newbies stay on track.
It can even help you build your membership area, and other aspects of your business using a cookie-cutter style program. That will save you a lot of time, especially as a newbie!
This is a way to help you create a website for your own product that essentially integrates with Clickbank to make selling this product easier. I think this is a cool idea, and for folks looking to create their own digital product, this would be a worthwhile investment. But remember, you’re now paying $47/month for CBU members area ($564 per year), PLUS $594 for the builder. Your yearly cost of business operation just jumped to over $1,000. Also, remember that this might lock your site into their builder, so if you decide to change to outside hosting at some point, I’m not sure how that process goes.
If you are serious about creating and selling your own digital products online, you need to prepare yourself for such an investment. It’s still a million times cheaper than a brick and mortar business, but not as cheap as being an affiliate.
3. More Active Community!
When I first reviewed Clickbank University, I was very critical of their support system and community. Many questions were unanswered, and emails were not responded it. It was a ghost town. However, 3 years later, it looks like things have picked up a bit.
It’s still not a thriving community of instant answers and fixes to problems, but it’s greatly improved. You can see from screenshots below that there are new questions posted almost daily, and that there are several answers per thread. Some people respond in quite a lot of detail. Experienced members are helping newbies, and people are exchanging information to help improve each others’ businesses. Awesome!

3 Things Clickbank University 2.0 Could Improve
1. More Examples Of Products And Affiliate Sites
The toughest thing for someone getting started is figuring out what to sell, whether they are a product creator or affiliate. It would be great if Clickbank spent some time showing websites and products that are doing a good job. I understand this can be tough, since many product and website creators don’t want their hard work copied by a bunch of students! However, examples of successful entrepreneurs doing the same thing you’re doing would be good for inspiration.
2. More Traffic Examples
Traffic is the heart and soul of a business. Without traffic, you simply aren’t going to make money online, regardless of what you’re selling or what business model you’re using. There is a completely separate tab for traffic in the members area, so I had high expectations. However, it’s limited to a few videos about Facebook Advertising, then some stuff about Instagram.
They could do a LOT more with the traffic section of their website, although I guess you could ask questions about this stuff in their weekly Q&A Webinars.
3. More Focused Webinars
The webinars are good, and it’s nice that you can ask any question you want. However, they are not very organized. I listened to one from August, which was just an audio recording with a bunch of random questions. I think if they had a weekly topic that was focused on a portion of building an online business, then it would be easier to search through the topics to find things that interest you. How are we supposed to take advantage of these webinar recordings when they are all just random topics from the entire world of online marketing?
At the very least, some kind of transcript and tagging system showing which topics were covered would help, and make these webinars more useful, especially for someone like myself who has a little more experience online.
I also attended a recent webinar (Sept 2017), and much of the content was newbie questions about how to manage time and how to get started. Those will be interesting for a real newbie who’s just curious about online marketing, but for someone looking to take action, I saw very little “instruction”. The vast majority of the webinar was just looking at a static screen (CBU members area).
1 Thing I Hated About CBU 2.0
I’ve greatly reduced the number of things I previously disliked about this product. There used to be multiple issues with upsells, lack of support, and problem with the members area. I’ve deleted about 1,000 words of content on this page as of late 2017 just because they fixed the problems. No product is perfect though!
Are Locked Modules Really for My Benefit?
Apparently a lot of people complained about the locked training, because it seems to be kind of unlocked now. You can work through weeks 1-3 without any special access. However, to unlock the rest of the training, you have to send them an email.
To me, this seems cumbersome. Previously, they enticed us with a yearly membership in order to unlock all the training, which was a complete insult. So their current setup is a huge improvement. Their thinking is that by locking the training you can keep people on track in the lessons and not skip ahead.

Clickbank University is a good product that’s worth the monthly membership cost of $47/month if you want to create your own infoproduct and sell it online. Also, if you are interested in learning how to sell other people’s stuff online as an affiliate this course is right for you.
As soon as you get a dog, your thoughts turn to training them. Of course, it’s only natural to want an obedient dog whom obeys your commands and doesn’t pee all over the place.
Unfortunately, training a dog can be hard work. Especially, if you don’t have much experience with it. People usually turn to the internet for dog training advice and resources like Smiling Staffy. Obviously, I love the amount of information that’s available online (we have an entire site dedicated to helping staffy owners solve problems and look after their dogs).
However, searching online is generally better for times where you have a specific issue or question concerning your dog. When it comes to general training, it’s difficult to find a solid set of organised steps that you can take to turn your dog into a well-mannered intelligent member of the family.
This is where dedicated online training courses come in and my current favourite is Brain Training 4 Dogs by Adrienne Farricelli. This course is designed to take your dog from the very beginning and basics of training all the way to super-advanced techniques like playing the piano (yes! This is really part of the course).

The forum is the place to go to ask any questions or queries you might have relating to your dog’s behaviour. Generally, you’ll get answers to your question from the community and even Adrienne herself will contribute. In fact, Adrienne is very active on the forum and does respond to many questions.I will say some of the videos could do with being updated and re-edited since some are looking a bit old now. However, the information is top-notch, and they all get the job done.
As you can see, you really do get quite a lot included within this course. There is more than enough material to help you transform your dog into an obedient angel as long as you’re consistent with it.

The course recently had a revamp and now features a much easier to follow layout as well as video modules. In the past, some of the lessons were mainly written so the addition of video is extremely welcome.
The course is very straightforward to navigate since it is laid out in a step-by-step order, which means you can pickup where you left off at any time with ease.

A Closer Look Inside Brain Training 4 Dogs
As I mentioned above, the main part of the course is the brain training in module 4. This is where you’ll discover the majority of the dog training lessons and content.
To make it easy to see your progress, the main course is divided into a school style layout that indicates the difficulty level of each section. At the end of each section, there is a graded challenge where you’ll be able to assess how well your dog performs in the tasks you have been learning together.
There is a grading structure so you can see very clearly when your pup is ready to move on to the next level or if they may need a bit more nurturing and practice.
The best way to take this course is to follow the step by step pattern and complete all of the modules and sections in order. This makes it so simple to follow. After all, the course was designed by a pro so it would be wise to follow along in the designed order.
Level I – PreSchool
As the name suggest, this section is all about the basics. You and you dog will learn about brain power and how to quickly respond to your command. We all know the frustration of a pup ignoring us so this level is a valuable one.
The pre-school level target’s your dog’s attention, which is crucial if you are to progress on to the later, more advanced lessons. Here are a few of the lessons and games that are taught at this stage.

Teaching a rewarding game like “Treasure Hunt” will rejuvenate your lazy dog and will make his/her routines interesting.
The simple and inexpensive “Muffin Game” will challenge his brain and will also help encourage him to win.

Level V – University

This level will help in making your dog a better-behaved dog by using the following games to teach him or her how to be more confident and resist temptation:
The “Hide & Seek” game is a fun game for both yourself and you dog. It helps to create a stronger bond between you and is great for helping dogs with issues when being left alone.
“The Look” game is designed to eliminate unwanted barking at others, especially when your dog is looking out of the window.
The fun and trouble-free “Hot & Cold Game” will boost up your dog’s spirit and will help to boost their learning ability as well.
Level VI – Graduation
A you’ve probably gathered by now, this is one of the most advance section of this training programme. The graduation level is all about developing advanced level motor skills and the intelligence to effortlessly obey your commands.
Here’s an example of the kind of learning games included at this level:
“Leg Weaving Skills”. An excellent skill to teach your dog to obey more complex commands and to impress your pals at the same time!
The game, “Serpentines and Spiral” will train your pup to stay by your side at all times, even as you make erratic and unpredictable movements.
“Name Recognition” is an extremely cool technique that teaches your dog to recognise items by name. He/she will learn how to pick out toys by name and bring them to you.
Level VII – Einstein
Finally, your pooch is a genius now, and, by reaching this level he/she can easily impress any human they want with their skills and talent.
Teach your dog to keep his area clean even after hours of playing with the “Tidy up Game”. An invaluable lesson to learn.
The “Ring Stacker” game will again test your dog’s patience and encourage them to develop extra self-control.
“Play the Piano”. This one sounds a bit unbelievable but apparently, it’s doable. I have not reached this level with my dog yet but there are many who have, and they tell me it is certainly possible.
There really is so much content inside the brain training for dogs course. And that is without all the other bonuses I mentioned above.
My recommendation is to simply run through the brain training course as it is laid out then use the bonus behaviour training course to cover any more specific problems that your dog might run into.

All in all, I really like this approach to training a dog; it is based around playing and rewards, which is great fun. The games are unique and some are pretty clever, which is perfect for keeping both you and your dog interested in the program.
I’ve already mentioned it a few times now but the course includes a large amount of helpful content and it is all simple to follow. As long as you’re willing to put the time and consistent effort into it, it will help you to train your dog.

Despite this being a legitimate platform and a legitimate way to make money online, there are a few things missing from this product that I’d like to touch on.
Some misleading claims – I feel the claims made by Devon Brown are quite misleading because they make affiliate marketing sound like the easiest way to make money online. Despite the legitimacy of affiliate marketing, it takes time to be successful with it and make consistent income. This product gives the impression you can start earning in as little as 12 minutes, but majority of members will not achieve those types results.
Everything Is “Done For You” – “Done-For-You” systems tend to make it easy for you to rely on products like these and not learn the skills for yourself. If anything happens to 12 Minute Affiliate, then you don’t have the skills or knowledge to start over again and you’ll just be looking for the next “shiny object”.
Extra costs – You will be spending more than the $9.95 entry fee and upsells. You’ll need to factor in things such as, the cost of getting paid traffic to your sales funnels and having an autoresponder service.
No Signs Of Ongoing Training – So far there doesn’t appear to be any signs of additional training or tips to further help marketers drive traffic. For example, it would be nice to see access to live webinars and/or an area where they provide new training material on a regular basis, especially considering there’s a monthly fee attached.
